Terminal illness lump sum: information N.I.

16—(1) Relevant information held by the Department or the Secretary of State about an individual may be disclosed to the Board for use for a purpose relating to its functions under paragraphs 12 to 15. N.I.

(2) In sub-paragraph (1) “relevant information” means—

(a) information held for the purposes of any function of the Department relating to social security; or

(b) information held for the purposes of any function of the Secretary of State relating to any scheme made under section 286 of the Pensions Act 2004 (c. 35) (financial assistance scheme).
