Remuneration, etc. of members

INI shall pay to its members such remuneration and allowances as the Department may determine.

If—
a
a person ceases to be a member or ceases to be the chairman or deputy chairman of INI; and
b
it appears to the Department that there are special circumstances which make it right that he should receive compensation,
the Department may direct INI to make a payment of such amount as the Department may determine.

A determination of the Department under this paragraph requires the approval of the Department of Finance and Personnel.
