144Abolition of Board's general functions and replacement of schemes with standards
(1)
The functions conferred by section 3 of the 1993 Act (and transferred as mentioned in section 143) are abolished.
(2)
Part 2 of the 1993 Act ceases to apply to a person if and when that person first becomes subject to the duty under section 25(1) of this Measure to comply with a standard.
(3)
The following provisions of the 1993 Act are repealed—
(a)
section 3;
(b)
section 4(1).
