6.—(1) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1295/2008 on the importation of hops from third countries(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 1(2)(b), for “1 February 2025” substitute “1 February 2027”.
(3) In Article 3—
(a)for “1 February 2025” substitute “1 February 2027”; and
(b)in subparagraph (a), for “Regulation (EC) No 1850/2006, as it has effect in EU law as amended from time to time” substitute “Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/601 of 14 December 2023 laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) No1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the certification of hops and hop products and related controls(2) and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/602 of 14 December 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) No1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the marketing standards in the hop sector and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 1850/2006(3), as they have effect in EU law”.
(4) In Article 4—
(a)in paragraph 1A—
(i)for “1 February 2025” substitute “1 February 2027”;
(ii)for “Article 4(1) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1295/2008” substitute “Article 38(1) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2834 of 10 October 2023 laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) No1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards imports in the sectors of rice, cereals, sugar and hops(4)”;
(iii)omit “as amended from time to time”;
(b)in paragraph 1B, for “1 February 2025” substitute “1 February 2027”.
(5) In Article 4a, for “Regulation (EC) No 1850/2006, as it has effect in EU law as amended from time to time”, in both places it occurs, substitute “Regulation (EU) 2024/601 and Regulation (EU) 2024/602, as they have effect in EU law”.
(6) In Article 5(3), for “Regulation (EC) No 1850/2006, as it has effect in EU law as amended from time to time” substitute “Regulation (EU) 2024/601 and Regulation (EU) 2024/602, as they have effect in EU law”.
(7) In Article 6—
(a)in paragraph 1A—
(i)for “1 February 2025” substitute “1 February 2027”;
