1.This Regulation shall apply to:
(a)kept and wild terrestrial animals and hatching eggs;
(b)establishments where those animals and hatching eggs are kept or undergo assembly operations;
(c)operators keeping those animals and hatching eggs;
(d)operators transporting terrestrial animals and hatching eggs;
(e)competent authorities of Member States.
2.Part II shall apply to movements of kept terrestrial animals and hatching eggs only when occuring between Member States, with the exception of Articles 4 to 6 and Article 63, which shall in addition apply to movements of kept terrestrial animals and hatching eggs within a Member State.
