THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 of 28 September 2017 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Mali

and in particular Article 12(1) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Whereas:

On 28 September 2017, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) 2017/1770.

(2)

On 14 January 2020, the United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee established by paragraph 9 of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2374 (2017) amended the listings of five persons to which the asset freeze applies.

(3)

Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2017/1770 should therefore be amended accordingly,
