In these Regulations, ‘the appropriate authority’ has the meaning given in Article 3(2A) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Words and expressions defined in Regulation (EU) 2019/2124 have the same meanings in these Regulations.
