PART II U.K. REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO CMCS

CMC 8: NUTRIENT POLYMERS U.K.

1. An EU fertilising product may contain polymers exclusively made up of monomer substances complying with the criteria set out in points 1 and 2 of CMC 1, where the purpose of the polymerisation is to control the release of nutrients from one or more of the monomer substances. U.K.

2. At least 60 % of the polymers shall be soluble in a phosphate buffer solution with a pH of 7,5 at 100 °C. U.K.

3. The final degradation products shall be only ammonia (NH₃), water and carbon dioxide (CO₂). U.K.

4. The polymers shall not contain more than 600 ppm of free formaldehyde. U.K.
