1.Existing stocks of formaldehyde as an additive belonging to the additive category ‘technological additives’ and to the functional group ‘preservatives’ for use in skimmed milk for pigs up to the age of 6 months, and of premixtures containing that additive, shall be withdrawn from the market as soon as possible and at the latest by 28 May 2018.
2.Skimmed milk containing the additive or skimmed milk containing the premixtures referred to in paragraph 1, and compound feed containing such skimmed milk, which have been produced before 28 May 2018 shall be withdrawn from the market as soon as possible and at the latest by 28 August 2018.
