F1Competent authorities may collect fees or charges to cover the costs of F2any activities they carry out under this Regulation or under legislation made using the powers included in this Regulation, including official controls or other official activities other than those fees or charges referred to in Article 79, unless prohibited by the legislative provisions applicable in the areas governed by the rules referred to in Article 1(2).
