F1Where the requested authority refuses to handle a request for information, to carry out an administrative enquiry relating to the requested information, or to provide the information requested, it shall notify the requesting authority by means of an ‘ Answer message ’ document, as set out in Table 8 of Annex I to this Regulation.

It shall send such notification as soon as it has taken its decision and in any event within three months of receipt of the request.
