This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

With the exception of point 8(c), which shall apply to all vehicles as from the entry into force of this Regulation, Annex II shall apply from 1 January 2017 to new vehicle types.
