Article 19Closure of the programme

Only activities linked to the closure of projects by beneficiaries in accordance with point (a)(iii) of Article 48(2) or linked to the closure of programmes under technical assistance may be carried out between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024 .

A programme shall be considered closed when:
(a)
all contracts concluded under the programme have been closed;
(b)
the final balance has been paid or reimbursed;
(c)
remaining appropriations have been de-committed by the Commission.
3.
The closure of the programme shall not prejudice the Commission's right to undertake, at a later stage, financial corrections vis-à-vis the Managing Authority or the beneficiaries if the final amount of the programme or the projects has to be readjusted as a result of controls or audits carried out after the closure date.
