As far as the Member State(s) participating in a cross-border cooperation programme under this Chapter are concerned, in particular the Member State where the managing authority shall be located, the rules applicable to the European territorial cooperation goal provided for in Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 and Regulation (EU) No 1299/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council9 shall apply, as provided for in this Chapter. Where such rules refer to the European Structural and Investment Funds as defined in Article 1 of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013, for the purposes of this Chapter, IPA II assistance is also considered to be covered.
