THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) No 922/72, (EEC) No 234/79, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 1234/2007, and in particular Article 188 thereof,
Having regard to Commission Regulation (EC) No 1301/2006 of 31 August 2006 laying down common rules for the administration of import tariff quotas for agricultural products managed by a system of import licences, and in particular Article 7(2) thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Regulation (EC) No 616/2007 opened tariff quotas for imports of poultrymeat products originating in Brazil, Thailand and other third countries.

The applications for import licences lodged during the first seven days of April 2014 in respect of Groups Nos 1, 2, 4A, 6A, 7 and 8 for the subperiod from 1 July to 30 September of Groups Nos 3, 4B and 6B for the period from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015 relate, for some quotas, to quantities exceeding those available. The extent to which import licences may be issued should therefore be determined by establishing the allocation coefficient to be applied to the quantities requested.

The applications for import rights lodged during the first seven days of April 2014 in respect of Group No 5A for the subperiod from 1 July to 30 September 2014 relate to quantities exceeding those available.
