(⁴) The fitting of an ESC system is required in accordance with Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 661/2009. Therefore, the requirements set out in Part A of Annex 9 to UNECE Regulation No 13-H shall be complied with for the purposes of EC type-approval of new types of vehicles as well as for the registration, sale and entry into service of new vehicles. The implementation dates set out in Article 13 of Regulation (EC) No 661/2009 apply. N₁ vehicles may be approved according to UNECE Regulation 13 or UNECE Regulation 13-H.” U.K.
