establishing the form and technical details of the notification referred to in Articles 3 and 5 of Regulation (EU) No 256/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Commission Regulations (EC) No 2386/96 and (EU, Euratom) No 833/2010

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 256/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014, concerning the notification to the Commission of investment projects in energy infrastructure within the European Union, replacing Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 617/2010 and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 736/961, and in particular Article 7 thereof,

Whereas:

In order to gather comparable data and to simplify the reporting by Member States or their delegated entities or bodies referred to in Article 3 of Regulation (EU) No 256/2014, notifications to be made should be standardized by the use of reporting tables. Therefore, the provisions concerning the form and other technical details of the notification of data and information should be adopted.

Following the repeal of Council Regulation (EC) No 736/962 by Regulation (EU) No 256/2014, Commission Regulation (EC) No 2386/963 should also be repealed.

Following the annulment of Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 617/20104 by the European Court of Justice5, Commission Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 833/20106 should be also repealed by this Regulation,
