                  <Text>By virtue of the first subparagraph of Article 9(1) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006, the Commission has examined Spain’s application for the approval of amendments to the specification for the protected geographical indication ‘Ternasco de Aragón’ registered under Commission Regulation (EC) No 1107/96<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/>, as amended by Regulation (EC) No 392/2008<FootnoteRef Ref="f00004"/>.</Text>

                  <Text>Since the amendments in question are not minor, the Commission published the amendment application in the <Emphasis>Official Journal of the European Union</Emphasis>
                     <FootnoteRef Ref="f00005"/>, as required by Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 510/2006. As no statement of objection under Article 7 of that Regulation has been received by the Commission, the amendments to the specification should be approved,</Text>
