Wherever normal Common Custom Tariff duties have been reintroduced, any interested party may submit a written request for reinstatement of the tariff preferences providing prima facie evidence that the reasons justifying the reintroduction of normal duties no longer apply. Union producers may submit a written request for the extension of the period of reintroduction of the normal duties providing prima facie evidence that the reasons justifying the reintroduction of normal duties continue to apply.

The Commission may review the need for reinstatement of normal Common Custom Tariff duties wherever it considers such a review to be justified.

The provisions of this chapter shall apply mutatis mutandis to the review of the safeguard measures.
