1.With effect from 1 November 2012, national authorities shall refuse to grant EC type-approval of new types of vehicles of category M1 which are not fitted with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) complying with the relevant requirements laid down in UNECE Regulation No 64, 02 series of amendments, corrigendum 1(1).
2.With effect from 1 November 2014, national authorities shall prohibit the registration, sale and entry into service of vehicles of category M1 which are not fitted with a TPMS complying with the relevant requirements laid down in UNECE Regulation No 64, 02 series of amendments, corrigendum 1.
