CHAPTER ISCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
Article 2
This Regulation shall apply in all cases where the regulations referred to in Article 1 provide for a security as defined in Article 3, whether or not the particular term ‘security’ is used.
This Regulation shall not apply to securities given to ensure payment of import and export duties referred to in Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/9210.
