implementing Article 16(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 of 2 March 2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya1, and in particular Article 16(1) and (2) thereof,

Whereas:

On 2 March 2011, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya.

(2)

In view of the gravity of the situation in Libya, additional persons and entities should be included in the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures as set out in Annex III to Regulation (EU) No 204/2011.

Furthermore, one person should be removed from the list in Annex III, and the information relating to certain persons and entities included in the lists in Annexes II and III to that Regulation should be updated,
