implementing Article 16(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Whereas:
On 2 March 2011, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Libya.
In view of the gravity of the situation in Libya, additional persons and entities should be included in the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures as set out in Annex III to Regulation (EU) No 204/2011.
Furthermore, one person should be removed from the list in Annex III, and the information relating to certain persons and entities included in the lists in Annexes II and III to that Regulation should be updated,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
Annexes II and III to Regulation (EU) No 204/2011 shall be replaced by the text set out in Annexes I and II respectively to this Regulation.
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
