CHAPTER VIIU.K.[F1APPROVED BODIES]

Article 49U.K.Identification numbers and lists of [F2approved] bodies

1.The [F3Secretary of State] shall assign an identification number to each [F4approved] body.

It shall assign a single such number even where the body is [F4approved] under several [F5relevant enactments].

2.The [F6Secretary of State] shall make publicly available the list of [F7approved bodies], including the identification numbers that have been allocated to them and the activities for which they have been [F8approved.]

The [F9Secretary of State] shall ensure that this list is kept up-to-date.

[F103.The Secretary of State may authorise the UK national accreditation body to compile and maintain the list referred to in paragraph 2.]
