Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 is amended as follows:

1. 1.

   Article 4 is amended as follows:

   1. (a)

      paragraph 3 is replaced by the following:

      ‘3.

      The enumerations and code lists used in attributes or association roles of spatial object types or data types shall comply with the definitions and include the values set out in Annex II. The enumeration and code list values are language-neutral mnemonic codes for computers.’

   2. (b)

      paragraph 4 is deleted.

2. 2.

   Article 6 is amended as follows:

   1. (a)

      paragraph 1(a) is replaced by the following:

      1. ‘(a)

         code lists that shall not be extended by Member States;’

   2. (b)

      paragraph 3 is replaced by the following:

      ‘3.

      Attributes or association roles of spatial object types or data types whose type is a code list as defined in Article 6 (1)(a) may only take values from the lists specified for the code list.

      Attributes or association roles of spatial object types or data types whose type is a code list as defined in Article 6 (1)(b) may only take values that are valid according to the register in which the code list is managed.’

   Annex I is amended as set out in Annex I to this Regulation.

4. 4.

   Annex II is amended as set out in Annex II to this Regulation.
