[X1CHAPTER I U.K. SUBJECT MATTER, SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS

Article 1 U.K. Subject matter and scope

1. This Regulation lays down the veterinary certification requirements for the introduction into [F1Great Britain] of consignments containing the following live animals or fresh meat:

(a) ungulates;

(c) fresh meat intended for human consumption, excluding meat preparations, of ungulates and equidae.

2. This Regulation lays down the lists of third countries, [F3and makes provision for the specification for the purposes of this Regulation by the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), of territories or parts thereof,] from which the consignments referred to in paragraph 1 may be introduced into [F4Great Britain].
