Regulation (EEC) No 2299/89 shall be repealed.

References to the repealed Regulation shall be construed as references to this Regulation and be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in Annex II.

The F1CAA shall, on a regular basis, monitor the application of this Regulation, if necessary with the assistance of specific audits as provided for in Article 14. It shall, in particular, examine the effectiveness of this Regulation in ensuring non-discrimination and fair competition in the market for CRS services.

The F1CAA shall, when appropriate, report to the F2Secretary of State on the application of Article 8 with regards to equivalent treatment in F3other countries and shall propose any appropriate measure in order to alleviate discriminatory conditions, including the conclusion or modification of bilateral air transport agreements between the F4United Kingdom and F3other countries.
