amending Council Regulation (EC) No 2368/2002 implementing the Kimberley Process certification scheme for the international trade in rough diamonds
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,
Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 2368/2002 of 20 December 2002 implementing the Kimberley Process certification scheme for the international trade in rough diamonds1 , and in particular Articles 19 and 20 thereof,
Whereas:

The Chair of the Kimberley Process certification scheme, through his Chair’s Notice of 3 May 2007, has decided to add Liberia to the list of Participants as of 4 May 2007.

Annex II should therefore be amended accordingly. Amendment to Annex II is without prejudice to the specific rules of Council Regulation (EC) No 234/2004 of 10 February 2004 concerning certain restrictive measures in respect of Liberia and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1030/20032.

Germany has informed the Commission of changes to the details of its Community authorities.

Annex III should be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
