Article 151U.K.Amendments to Regulation (EC) No 1673/2000

Regulation (EC) No 1673/2000 is hereby amended as follows:

1)

Article 1 is amended as follows:

(a)

In paragraph 2, point (a) shall be replaced by the following:

  • ‘“farmer” shall mean a farmer as defined in Article 2(a) of Council Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 + of 29 September 2003 establishing common rules for direct support schemes under the common agricultural policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers(1).’

(b)

In paragraph 3, ‘Regulation (EC) No 1251/1999’ shall be replaced by ‘Article 52 of Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 +’

2)

In the first and second indent of Article 5(2), ‘Article 5a of Regulation (EC) No 1251/1999’ shall be replaced by ‘Article 52 of Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 +’.
