The annex to Directive 94/33/EC is amended as follows:

1. (1)

   Section I is amended as follows:

   1. (a)

      in point 2 point (a) is replaced by the following:

      1. ‘(a)
         Biological agents of risk groups 3 and 4 within the meaning of points 3 and 4 of second paragraph of Article 2 of Directive 2000/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council17.’

   2. (b)

      point 3 is amended as follows:

         point (a) is replaced by the following:
