TITLE IDEFINITIONS AND SCOPE

Article 1Scope

1.

This Directive shall apply to investment firms and regulated markets.

2.

The following provisions shall also apply to credit institutions authorised under Directive 2000/12/EC, when providing one or more investment services and/or performing investment activities:

  • Articles 2(2), 11, 13 and 14,

  • Chapter II of Title II excluding Article 23(2) second subparagraph,

  • Chapter III of Title II excluding Articles 31(2) to 31(4) and 32(2) to 32(6), 32(8) and 32(9),

  • Articles 48 to 53, 57, 61 and 62, and

  • Article 71(1).
