TITLE IXCOMMITTEE PROCEDURES

The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed established by Article 58(1) of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council 9 . That Committee shall be a committee within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council 10 .

Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 4 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC 11 shall apply.

The period laid down in Article 4(3) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at one month.

The Committee shall adopt its Rules of Procedure.

Where reference is made to this Article, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC 12 shall apply.

The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at three months.
