The Member States shall require that analyses for official controls of feeding-stuffs as regards their levels of hydrocyanic acid, calcium, carbonates, crude ash, ash insoluble in HCl chlorine from chlorides, [F1mustard oil, ]lactose, potassium, sodium, sugars[F1, theobromine] and urea,[F2 and the determination of alkaloids in lupins] and the estimation of the urease activity of products derived from soya be carried out using the methods set out in the Annex to this Directive.
[F3The general rules contained in Part 1 of the Annex shall apply to the methods of analysis adopted pursuant to Council Directive 70/373/EEC.]
[F4As regards undesirable substances within the meaning of Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) including dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs, point C(3) of Part 1 of the Annex to this Directive shall apply.]
