                  <ref eId="c00001" href="https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/eu-exit/https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=uriserv:OJ.L_.2016.141.01.0079.01.ENG">OJ L 141, 28.5.2016, p. 79</ref>.</p></authorialNote>,</p><p>Having regard to the proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,</p><p>Whereas:</p><blockContainer class="division" uk:name="division"><num>(1)</num><p>On 27 May 2016 the Council adopted Decision (CSFP) 2016/849.</p></blockContainer><blockContainer class="division" uk:name="division"><num>(2)</num><p>In view of the continued and accelerated nuclear and ballistic programmes of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), which are in breach of the DPRK's obligations as set out in several United Nations Security Council Resolutions, as evidenced by the most recent ballistic missile launch by the DPRK on 28 November 2017, 17 persons should be added to the list of persons and entities in Annex III of Decision (CFSP) 2016/849.</p></blockContainer><blockContainer class="division" uk:name="division"><num>(3)</num><p>Annex III to Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 should therefore be amended accordingly,</p></blockContainer><p>HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:</p></preamble><body eId="body"><article eId="article-1"><num>Article 1</num><content><p>Annex III to Decision (CFSP) 2016/849 is amended as set out in the Annex to this Decision.</p></content></article><article eId="article-2"><num>Article 2</num><content><p>This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the <i>Official Journal of the European Union</i>.</p></content></article><hcontainer name="signatures"><hcontainer name="signatureBlock"><content><p>Done at Brussels, 22 January 2018.</p><p>
