amending Decision 2012/642/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Belarus
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof,
Having regard to the proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,
Whereas:

On 15 October 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/642/CFSP1.
(2)
On the basis of a review of Decision 2012/642/CFSP, the restrictive measures against Belarus should be extended until 28 February 2017.
(3)
The application of the travel ban and asset freeze should be maintained in respect of four persons listed in Annex I to Decision 2012/642/CFSP.
(4)
Decision 2012/642/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
