CHAPTER I U.K. GENERAL RULES

Article 4 U.K. Contract value thresholds

1. Contracts the estimated value of which, net of VAT, equals or exceeds the threshold amounts set out in paragraph 3, shall be awarded in accordance with the procedures laid down in Chapter II.

2. Contracts the estimated value of which, net of VAT, is below the threshold amounts set out in paragraph 3 shall be awarded in accordance with the procedures laid down in Chapter III. Contracts with an estimated value of less than EUR 20 000 shall be awarded in line with Article 37.

[F1 3. The following thresholds shall apply:

(a) for supply and service contracts: the threshold for public supply and service contracts awarded by contracting authorities set out in point (c) of Article 4 of Directive 2014/24/EU;

(b) for works contracts: the threshold for public works contracts set out in point (a) of Article 4 of Directive 2014/24/EU;

(c) for concession contracts: the threshold for concession contracts set out in Article 8(1) of Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council (1) .]
