amending Decision 2013/488/EU on the security rules for protecting EU classified information

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 240(3) thereof,
Having regard to Council Decision 2009/937/EU of 1 December 2009 adopting the Council's Rules of Procedure1, and in particular Article 24 thereof,
Whereas:

Appendix B to Council Decision 2013/488/EU2 contains a table of equivalence of security classifications.
(2)
The United Kingdom has notified the General Secretariat of the Council of changes to its security classifications.
(3)
It is, therefore, necessary to modify Decision 2013/488/EU accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
