The financial reference amount intended to cover the expenditure related to the mandate of the EUSR until 30 June 2013 shall be EUR 712 500.

F1The financial reference amount intended to cover the expenditure related to the mandate of the EUSR in the period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014 shall be EUR 837 000 .

The financial reference amount for the subsequent period of the EUSR’s mandate shall be decided by the Council.

The expenditure shall be managed in accordance with the procedures and rules applicable to the general budget of the Union.

The management of the expenditure shall be subject to a contract between the EUSR and the Commission. The EUSR shall be accountable to the Commission for all expenditure.
