EUCAP Somalia shall assist Somalia in strengthening its maritime security capacity in order to enable it to enforce maritime law more effectively.

In addition, EUCAP Somalia shall assist Somalia in strengthening its police capacity in order to support the implementation of the Somali Transition Plan for the transfer of security responsibilities to the Somali authorities.
