The President of the Council shall designate the person(s) empowered to proceed, on behalf of the Union, to the notification provided for in Article 16 of the Protocol, in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Protocol(1).
The date of entry into force of the Protocol will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union by the General Secretariat of the Council.
