Article 2U.K.Definitions [F1and interpretation]
For the purposes of this Decision the following definitions apply:
‘minimum start-up load for stable generation’ means the minimum load compatible with the steady operation of the generating combustion plant following start-up initiation after which the plant is able to safely and reliably deliver its output to a network, grid, heat accumulator or industrial site;
‘minimum shut-down load for stable generation’ means the minimum load at which point the plant can no longer safely and reliably deliver its output to a network, grid, heat accumulator or industrial site and is considered to be shutting down.
[F2For the purpose of this Decision a reference to a provision of a Directive is to be read as a reference to that provision in so far as it has been transposed into the law of any part of the United Kingdom.]
