For the purposes of this Decision, the following definitions apply:
‘ABN AMRO Group’ means ABN AMRO Group and its wholly owned direct or indirect subsidiaries, including the entities in which ABN AMRO Group has sole control within the meaning of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 of 20 January 2004 on the control of concentrations between undertakings (the EC Merger Regulation)(1).
‘rank first’ means to offer the most attractive price.
‘retail customers’ means all individual customers (as opposed to corporate customers).
‘standardised retail savings and deposit products’ means all standardised retail and deposit products covering at any point in time at least 85 % in volume of the products of ABN AMRO Group in the retail savings and deposit market.
‘standardised mortgage products’ means all standardised retail and deposit products covering at any point in time at least 85 % in volume of the products of ABN AMRO Group in mortgages.
Private Banking NL means all clients of BU Private Banking except those that are part of Private Banking International(2)
This refers to the segmental breakdown used in the December 2009 Restructuring Plan (see recital 79).
