This Decision establishes a specific control and inspection programme to ensure:

(a)

the harmonised implementation of the multiannual plan set up by Regulation (EC) No 1098/2007 for cod stocks in the Baltic Sea and the fisheries exploiting those stocks; and

(b)

the harmonised control and inspection of the fisheries exploiting the salmon stocks in the Baltic Sea.]
