Article 3Animal health requirements concerning the origin and treatment of the meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines

F1The appropriate authority shall authorise imports into F2Great Britain of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines that:

  1. (a)

    X1F3comply with—

    1. (i)

      any conditions concerning origin and treatment set out in Annex 1(1) or (2); and

    2. (ii)

      any conditions set out in a document published under point (b); and

  2. (b)

    originate in the following third countries F4or parts thereof:

    1. (i)

      in the case of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines not subject to a specific treatment as referred to in point 1(b) of Annex I, the third countries F5identified with the code “AP” in the table in Part 2 of Annex II F6, or any parts thereof that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may specify in a document published for the purposes of this point;

    2. (ii)

      in the case of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines subject to a specific treatment as referred to in point 2(a)(ii) of Annex I, F7such of the third countries F8identified with the code “AP” in the table in Parts 2 and 3 of Annex II F9or any parts thereof that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may specify in a document published for the purposes of this point.
