Maximum term of imprisonment for offence under section 183(1)E+W
24E+WIn relation to an offence committed before the commencement of [F1paragraph 24(2) of Schedule 22 to the Sentencing Act 2020] (general limit on the magistrates' court's power to impose imprisonment) the reference to 12 months in section 183(3)(a) is to be read as a reference to 6 months.
