National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 (c. 97) U.K.

7 (1) Amend section 1 (the Countryside Agency and the Countryside Council for Wales) as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (1), omit—

(a) “There shall be a Countryside Agency which shall exercise functions in relation to England for the purposes specified in subsection (2) below; and”, and

(b) “corresponding” (in both places).

(3) Omit subsection (2).

(4) In the heading, omit “Countryside Agency and the”.
