7.—(1) The functions of the Minister for the Cabinet Office under section 2(2)(b) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000(1)—
(a)are transferred to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities,

(3) The functions of the Minister for the Cabinet Office under—
(a)regulations 29ZA, 29ZB, 32ZBB and 32ZBC of the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001(4), and
(b)regulations 29ZA, 29ZB, 32ZBB and 32ZBC of the Representation of the People (Scotland) Regulations 2001(5),
are transferred to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.

By article 2 of S.I. 2021/310 the Minister for the Cabinet Office’s functions under section 2(2)(b) were made exercisable concurrently with any Minister of the Crown in the Cabinet Office with responsibilities in relation to the constitution.
