The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on him by paragraph 12(6) of Schedule 1 to the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998(1), hereby makes the following order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This order may be cited as the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 (Accounts and Audit) Order (No. 2) 2001 and shall come into force on 26th May 2001.

Revocation

2.  The Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 (Accounts and Audit) Order 2001(2) is hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note

This order revokes the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 (Accounts and Audit) Order 2001.

The revoked order amended the financial year of the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland in paragraph 12(5) of Schedule 1 to the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998.

The relevant provisions determining the financial year of the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland are found in the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 (Accounts and Audit) Order 1998 (S.I. 2001/851).
