The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 2 and 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act 1879, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—
1. All fees payable to the Registrar of Companies under the Limited Partnerships Act 1907 shall be collected in money.
2. All fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in England under the Newspaper Libel and Registration Act 1881 shall be collected in money.
3.—(1) Fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in England under Rule 9 (a), (b), (c) and (f) of the Business Names Rules 1949(1) shall be collected by means of postage stamps.
(2) Fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in England under Rule 9 (d) and (e) of the Business Names Rules 1949 shall be collected in money.
(3) All fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in Scotland under the Business Names Rules 1949 shall be collected by means of postage stamps.
4.—(1) Unless the context otherwise requires, any reference in this Order to any enactment or instrument shall be construed as a reference to that enactment or instrument as amended or re-enacted by any subsequent enactment or instrument.
(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
5. The Treasury Notice(2) dated 22nd December 1881 is hereby revoked.
6. This Order may be cited as the Companies Registration Office (Fees) (No. 2) Order 1963, and shall come into operation on 1st April 1963.

This Order provides that fees payable to the Registrars of Companies in England and Scotland under the Limited Partnerships Act 1907 shall be collected in money.
It also provides that fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in England under the Newspaper Libel and Registration Act 1881 and certain fees payable in England under the Business Names Rules 1949 shall be collected in money, and that other fees payable in England under the Business Names Rules 1949 shall be collected in postage stamps.
It also provides that fees payable to the Registrar of Companies in Scotland under the Business Names Rules 1949 shall be collected in postage stamps.
Certain of the above mentioned fees have previously been collected in Inland Revenue stamps and this is discontinued by this Order.
