23 U.K. In section 4(1) of the Bank of England Act 1946 (power of Treasury to give directions to the Bank)—

(a) the words “monetary policy” become paragraph (a);

(b) after that paragraph insert—

“(b) the exercise by the Bank of its functions as the Prudential Regulation Authority (see section 2A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000).”
